Niwihcihaw Acceptance Ltd.
100% owned by Ermineskin Cree Nation through NGCI.
Fair, affordable loans for Ermineskin Cree Nation members. No barriers. No runaround.
Niwihcihaw, the nêhiyawêwin word for helping hands, was founded in 1987 with a clear mandate: give Ermineskin Cree Nation members access to fair, affordable loans through an organization that belongs to them. Not a bank. Not an outside lender. A company owned by the Nation, operating in the community it serves.
We are 100% owned by Ermineskin Cree Nation through the Neyaskweyahk Group of Companies. That ownership is not a footnote. It means every decision we make is guided by the community, for the community. Loans stay local. Accountability stays here.
Thirty-eight years later, the members we serve are still at the centre of everything we do.

We exist to serve Ermineskin Cree Nation members and the broader First Nations community.
Decades of consistent, transparent service have built a relationship of trust with our members.
We honour Indigenous culture, language, and the people we serve in everything we do.
Financial services can be complex. We communicate plainly and without jargon.
